Championship weekend schedules

The 99^th North Carolina High School Athletic Association BB&T State Football Championships will kick off on Friday in a two-day championship weekend being played at three sites across the state.

1A Championship – Saturday, 11 a.m.

Plymouth (14-1) vs. Murphy (13-2) at Carter-Finley Stadium in Raleigh

1AA Championship – Saturday, 3 p.m.

Southwest Onslow (13-1) vs. Swain County (15-0) at Carter-Finley Stadium in Raleigh

2A Championship – Saturday, 11 a.m.

Tarboro (14-0) vs. East Lincoln (15-0) at BB&T Field in Winston-Salem

2AA Championship – Saturday, 7 p.m.

Carrboro (15-0) vs. South Iredell (13-2) at Carter-Finley Stadium in Raleigh

3A Championship – Saturday, 3 p.m.

Havelock (14-1) vs. Concord (13-2) at BB&T Field in Winston-Salem

3AA Championship – Saturday, 7 p.m.

Northern Guilford (14-0) vs. Charlotte Catholic (13-1) at BB&T Field in Winston-Salem

4A Championship – Friday, 7:30 p.m.

New Bern (14-0) vs. Porter Ridge (13-1) at Kenan Stadium in Chapel Hill

4AA Championship – Saturday, 11 a.m.

Jack Britt (13-2) vs. David Butler (14-0)
