Rosman tabs McMichael's Matt Stack as next head coach



 
 
Rosman High School has selected Matt Stack as their next head football coach replacing Freddie Whitman who occupied that post for the previous seven years. 
 
Stack comes to Transylvania County from McMichael High School in Rockingham County where he compiled a 7-27 record in three seasons leading the Fighting Phoenix.  Stack, a graduate of Clemson University will begin his tenure at Rosman on April 24th. 
 
Stack will meet Rosman Tigers football players for the first time on Thursday, March 23.  On Friday, March 31, Rosman will host a "Meet the Coach” event at Silversteen Stadium, starting at 5:30 p.m. Hot dogs and beverages will be available.
