ELIZABETH CITY - Since taking over the program in 2005, Antonio Moore has led the Northeastern Eagles to levels never achieved before. In his twelve seasons as head football coach, he's posted a 125-38 record and in ten of the twelve seasons, led the team to 10+ wins.
You would have to go back to 2011 to find the most recent season that the Eagles didn't advance until at least the third round of the playoffs, a feat that only happened three times prior to his arrival.
There has been plenty of buzz surrounding this team this offseason. With the returning duo of future college stars J.R. Walker and Traveon Freshwater, the sky seems to be the limit and now with the addition of quarterback Dallas Hall who has moved in from neighboring Perquimans, all systems appear to be on go for a deep run in 2017.
