History
The idea of CarolinaPreps.com was first conceived in 1997 when the boom of the worldwide web was just starting. The website took its shape by compiling ideas and structures from two of the earliest high school football websites, NCHometeam.com and NCHSFootball.com.
However after years of working with other websites, Chris Hughes launched CarolinaPreps.com on April 1st, 2008.
Since opening its doors in 2008, the website has amassed over 120,000 unique visitors, 10 million page views, and over 50 million hits. CarolinaPreps.com is quickly becoming the most popular high school sports site in North Carolina.
